2008 Summer Camp Registration Form

The Parent/Camper Handbook has all of the information you will need to prepare your child for camp. Tell us a little more about your child by sending in the Camper Profile!
2008 Parent/Camper Handbook & Camper Profile

All campers must have a Summer Camper Health History Form submitted to the camp before they arrive on-site.

River Trek & Backpack Adventure, Leadership in Nature, Teen Backcountry Adventures
Campers attending River Trek & Backpack Adventure, Leadership in Nature and Teen Backcountry Adventures must submit the Summer Camper Health History Form, and the Health-Care Recommendations by Licensed Professional Form. Both of these forms must be recieved by the camp before the campers arrive on-site.
 
Leadership In Nature
In addition to the above forms, Leadership in Nature campers must have a signed Student Medical Form for the Adventure Center at Pretty Lake in order to participate in that trip.

Adventure Skills, Canoe, Camp & Climb
Campers attending Adventure Skills and Canoe, Camp & Climb must submit both the Summer Camper Health History Form, and the Climb Kalamazoo Waiver. Both of these forms must be recieved by the camp before the campers arrive on-site.
 
Summer Camp Bus Routes Minimize

Bus Transportation
Save fuel, ride the bus! Working parents—Pick the Schedule that works best for you.

  • Bus transportation is included in the camp fee. A camp staff member will be on each bus to welcome campers and answer parent questions.
  • Available to all campers in camp sessions for 4- to 15-year-olds.
  • Parents/guardians of 4- and 5-year-old campers who are registered for the half-day Junior Naturalist camps at the Kalamazoo Nature Center should contact camp directors for bus arrangements, (269) 381-1574 ext. 24.
  • There is no bus transportation for 3-year-olds at any location.
  • Buses only run to and from KNC from the scheduled stops and at the scheduled times (see below).
  • Buses will not leave campers unsupervised at bus stops. If no one is there to meet them, they will be returned to the KNC Adventure House where a parent or guardian will need to pick them up.
