Invite a Raptor to your Classroom!

The Kalamazoo Nature Center’s birds of prey offer a unique opportunity for your school to learn about the world of these amazing birds through participatory activities, question-and- answer time, and interaction with a live raptor.

Teachers:  All programs last approximately 60 minutes and are designed to complement the Common Core Standards, the Next Generation Science Standards , the State of Michigan’s Grade Level Content Expectations (GLCE) and the Battle Creek Math and Science Kits. Look for bold italicized words below each program description that summarize the GLCE.
View the 2014-15 School Programs here and look for the  logo next to programs that include a live bird visit to your classroom or at the Kalamazoo Nature Center.
