Birds and Blossoms Celebration
April 12 - May 18
 

Join us in celebrating spring! Throughout the Birds and Blossoms Celebration enjoy extra programs highlighting the return of migratory birds to Michigan, and the emergence of spring wildflowers.  The Nature Center will be open early for Sunrise Hours, to take advantage of the best times. Print out a Green Challenge form, fill it out and turn it in when you visit the Kalamazoo Nature Center.
We are challenging your family, friends, and neighbors to make green changes at home that will reduce impacts on the environment. Households that adopt at least 12 earth-friendly practices will receive a reusable bag, complements of Kalamazoo Nature Center and Lee’sAdventure Sports.  A weekend at the Indiana Dunes Environmental Learning Center, we’ll sleep in cabins, eat our meals family style in the dining hall and enjoy learning about the dunes as we explore our surroundings.  Perfect getaway for families!
