offers experiences typically found in child-centered programs such as discovery-based learning through play, sensory exploration, large and fine motor activity, creative expression, making friends, and developing social skills. What’s unique about Nature’s Way is the use of the natural world as an extension of the classroom. Our nine acres of natural areas allow children to experience daily nature walks and exploration through forests and along a creek. The naturalized playground provides opportunities for digging, playing in the mud, climbing on rocks, building ‘beaver dams’ and balancing on logs.
Nature’s Way Preschool is licensed by the State of Michigan. Our staff is dedicated to the mission of connecting children with nature while at the same time building competencies that will allow each student to develop into a successful kindergartner. Nature’s Way fosters a caring, safe atmosphere. Classes are limited in size to 18 students for the 4-year-old classes and 15 students in the 3-year-old classes. Each class benefits from three outstanding teachers.
