The Hiking Spree is a great way to get out on the trails and see our ever changing views from season to season. It's easy to join. Purchase a KNC Hiking Stick with a KNC logo medallion
to start your membership, and hike 5 KNC trails within one year of joining. Report your Hikes to the Host at the Guest Services Desk to earn that year's medallion

Join us on Saturday, October 2, 2010 for the Dr. Batts Hiking Challenge!
Imagine hiking all of the beautiful trails at KNC in ONE day ... give it a try! Choose from the extreme challenge (all 14 trails), the family challenge (5 trails), the trail run, and other fun activities. Don't miss this special event as KNC turns 50 in October.

Outdoor Ethics at KNC!

The Kalamazoo Nature Center is proud to be a partner with the Leave No Trace Center for Outdoor Ethics. Please help us preserve the natural beauty of the Nature Center by observing the following.

- For your safety, please check in with Guest Services in the lobby of the Interpretive Center before heading out on the trail.

-Please stay on marked trails

-Leave rocks, plants, and other natural objects were you find them.

-Please leave your pets at home.

-Bike on paved surfaces only.

-Respect wildlife, do not try to approach or capture.

-Dispose of waste in garbage and recycle bins.
