Rent the Hummingbird/Butterfly Garden

The Hummingbird/Butterfly Garden Seats:

Theatre style: 250 guests

Located within the Monica A. Evens Arboretum, the Hummingbird/Butterfly Garden provides an enchanting location for celebrations. Designed to nurture and support butterflies and hummingbirds, the garden is filled with plantings and flowers that feed and provide shelter for these delicate creatures. The Garden steps down into the hillside via a brick pathway and is surrounded by hedges and shrubs, creating an intimate enclosure. The beauty of the garden changes every week during the summer and into the fall, so no two events will ever be alike. Butterflies are raised in the butterfly house next to the garden ensuring a glimpse of these elusive creatures. The garden pathway is paved with memorial and honorarium bricks highlighting special moments in the recipient’s lives. For more information contact the rental coordinator.

Rental Rates

$500/ for up to 4 hours

$900/ for up to 8 hours

after hours add $125/hour*

*After hours fee is a per hour fee, in addition to the rental charge, for every hour past 5:00 p.m.

The Interpretive Center closes at 5:00 p.m. daily. The gates to the grounds close at 6:00 p.m. daily. Facilities are available for evening events until 10:00 p.m. All rentals require membership to KNC, a non-refundable 20% down payment and a refundable $500 damage deposit to hold your reservation.*After hours fee is a per hour fee, in addition to the rental charge, for every hour past 5:00 p.m.
