Join the Kalamazoo Nature Center for FREE admission day and special activities!  See the day's schedule below.

Early Registration is now closed for Earth Day 5K & Kids' Raccoon Run. Register in person Friday, April 21 from 9 am - 6 pm, or register the day of event beginning at 7:30 am. Shirts are available on a first-come basis.

Kids' Raccoon Run at 9 am Learn More...
$15 registration fee includes a short sleeve T-shirt (shirts available on a first-come basis). The Raccoon Run for ages 8 & under is a stroller-friendly 1K romp around the Habitat Haven Trail.

Earth Day 5K at 10 am Learn More...
$30 registration fee includes a technical shirt (shirts available on a first-come basis).
This fun and challenging run/walk features some of KNC's most beautiful trails, including steep hills, forest views, and a variety of terrain.  See the run map here.

Cancellation policy: There are no refunds for the Earth Day 5K or Kids' Raccoon Run registrations. Proceeds benefit KNC's early childhood education programs.

•  Paint recycling station by ePaint Recycling! Bring in unwanted cans of paint and for $2 each have the paint and cans completely recycled. 
•  Upcycled art by regional artists! Browse 10 unique booths of unique items for your home, office and gift-giving.
•  Solar array interpretive hike! Join a KNC naturalist for a hike to KNC's new solar arrays.  Get an up-close look at how we generate 1/3 of our energy needs using the power of the sun.
•  Breakfast and lunch options! Grampa's Pastys will be on-site with a selection of items from their up-north inspired menu.  Grab a morning or afternoon bite to sustain your enjoyment of KNC Earth Day activities.
